100 Episodes and 22 Interviews Later

I didn’t know what to expect or even what I was doing when I first started the Coffeehouse Questions podcast. All I knew was that J. Warner Wallace said it would be easy to start a podcast, and that part was true. It only cost me $10 and the first episode was posted. What he didn’t mention is the hard work that would go into publishing over 100 episodes. However, even with the hard work, time, and learning, it has been an incredible journey.

Of the first 100 episodes, the best part has been hosting some incredible authors, apologists, and friends on my show. The topics have ranged from prayer to abortion, logic, transgenderism, the big bang, death before the fall, Mormonism, unforgiveness, evangelism, and more. Check out the 35 different episodes with 22 different guests over the course of the last 2+ years. (Order from newest to oldest)

Responding To Pro-Choice Arguments – Interview with Megan Almon (Podcast)

Megan Almon, a speaker at the Life Training Institute, joined me for a second week as she responded to pro-choice arguments. If you missed last week’s episode “Defending the Pro-Life Position“, make sure you go back and listen to Megan use the science of embryology and philosophy to make a case for life. In this episode, Megan uses embryology and philosophy to respond to common pro-choice arguments including:

  • No one knows when life begins.
  • The fetus becomes valuable when it no longer needs the mother to survive.
  • My body, my choice.
  • Abortion is a woman’s issue, men should stay out of it.
  • It’s safer to allow abortions than to ban it and have women do it in back alleys.
  • What if the mother’s life is in danger?
  • How should we respond in the case of rape?
  • Abortion is fine as long as the fetus doesn’t have a heart beat, nervous system, consciousness, etc.

Defending the Pro-Life Position – Interview with Megan Almon (Podcast)

Megan Almon, a speaker at the Life Training Institute, explains how to make a case for the pro-life position. We start with the question “What is the unborn?” and then answer that question using the science of embryology and philosophy. Next week will be part 2 and we will discuss objections and arguments against the pro-life position.
