If God, Why Evil?

This is probably the most common objection to Christianity and the most difficult to answer. Watch as Ryan walks through different responses with a group of junior high students.

Resurrection: Real? Or Real Dumb?

What is more important in Christianity than the resurrection?

Pretty much nothing!

Paul is pretty clear in 1 Corinthians 15. If Jesus did not rise from the dead then our preaching is in vain, our faith is in vain, we are misrepresenting God, our faith is futile, we are still in our sins, and we are the most to be pitied. Verse 32 even says, “If the dead are not raised, ‘Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.'” Those are some very strong words!

However, if Jesus did rise from the dead, then it changes everything. That is why answering the question as to the truth of the resurrection is probably the most important thing we can do aside from putting our trust in Jesus.

“Resurrection: Real? Or Real Dumb?” is designed to help people see that the resurrection is real and that we should put our trust in Jesus. It really does make the most sense when looking at all of the possible explanations compared to the evidence as you see here.

So, I encourage you to watch the talk and decide for yourself which explanation makes the most sense.

Top 10 Videos of 2017

One of my goals since starting Coffeehouse Questions has been to take on speaking events. The blog started in 2015 and the podcast started in 2016. 2017 was very exciting because I started to get more frequent requests for speaking events. I was able to speak at school chapels, churches, a Ratio Christi club, and summer camps. Three of my events were with Stand to Reason at Hume Lake.

I am so grateful for each of these events. I already have one event on my Calendar for January 10th in Indiana, and I’m looking forward to booking more in 2018! Check out my Endorsements & Speaking page for topics or suggest your own!

Is Jesus the only way to God? (Video)

There are many different ways people answer this question, but it doesn’t mean that all answers are correct. Just like other areas of study, we should seek the truth and anything that contradicts the truth is false. Religious truth is no different. As you can see in the picture below, each worldview gives a different response when discussion what is wrong with humanity and its cure, and each answer contradicts another. So, how can we answer this important question while understanding different worldviews and arriving at the truth? Can we say that Jesus is the only way to God? I am convinced that we can. Watch this video and find out!

How Relativism Undermines Your Student’s Faith in Christ (Video)

Our culture of relativism, the belief that truth changes from person to person, is undermining our student’s faith in Christ. Relativism states that there is no truth. So how can Christianity be objectively true if there is no truth? Jesus is not just one way, but He is THE way. So, how can pastors, parents, teachers, and leaders respond to cultural relativism and help our students remain strong in their convictions? Watch this video and find out.
